Charlie meets Tiki "High Impro"
This first chapter emerges from several recordings of improvisational music collected during 2017-2018. A huge sound testimony of almost 80 hours has been put under a process of editing, cutting, selection, overdubs and remix. At the end of this process of innovation and hybridization that merges contrasting vocabularies against one another you’ll find a magical, original whole piece. In this recording interplay and flowing of improvisational music coexist peacefully with mainstream genres (pop, ambient, jazz, afrobeat) arriving to an untapped, fresh and appealing practice of creating music tales.
