"Pure avant-garde, redolent of experimentation—encapsulating, as if within a time machine, a collection of inventive ideas and projections that point toward a future world. Luca La Russa’s sonic constructions weave together an instrumental sound that draws upon jazz while simultaneously fusing it with the odd, asymmetrical time signatures of math rock. Through meticulous attention to sound, he unlocks an experience for the listener—a shared journey. Wind instruments meet guitars, often in a harmonious fashion, fostering a modern vision that opens onto unknown, sometimes ineffable worlds—realms that are profoundly deep, inviting us to dig together in search of something precious. These six movements are defined by technical skill, yet they are also imbued with immense heart—a heart poured into revealing the admirable intentions behind a record that never ceases to surprise. It begins with the striking lead track "Aktis," then moves through the calm and the storm of pieces like "Dunwich," "Fjords," and "Shoggoth"—offering a spectacular vision of a universe that expands one’s perspective, strengthens its own presence, and carves out atmospheric spaces of rare intensity." https://indiepercui.altervista.org/luca-la-russa-nembrot-bnc-music/
